** Retail Services is currently implementing some new retail strategies to optimize our spaces and service levels across campus. This means a move towards stores that offer a variety of products and services, as opposed to single service locations. To help us achieve this goal, we have decided to close the Media.doc locations inside the Davis Centre and South Campus Hall as of June 29, 2018.

Courseware will be available for purchase from the Davis Centre Media.doc location during the spring 2018 term until June 29th, 2018. Beginning July 3rd, 2018, students will be able to source their courseware from the Book Store in South Campus Hall. For questions regarding courseware, please contact Madelaine Paterson, Custom Publishing and Marketing Coordinator at extension 33996 or by email at

Please note that all instructors are reminded to consult the University of Waterloo Guidelines for Instructors regarding Textbooks, Clickers, Field Trips and the Use of Online Resources when developing their courses. The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) currently places certain restrictions on the use of online resources when used for assessment in courses. The guidelines are available on the Secretariat website
